Theme Challenge: Rococorobo!

Remember the Shape Challenge I did for Design-A-Character? They actually put up new ones each week and recently I've been super stoked for 'em (yes, surfer lingo is acceptable... for the moment) even though I've yet to finish one completely!  I posted some of the sketches on Twitter and of course my DeviantArt page, but this one I'm super proud of for multiple reasons so I'll put it here, too!

Reasons I am super proud of it:
1. I've finally stopped failing so hard at Flash. I'm still failing but only a bit.
2. I now have a GREAT idea for an illustration
3. The designs look kinda awesome :P

For the March Theme Challenge, the guy chose the rococo period (18th century France. Y'know, ballgowns and powdered wigs?). So I did some roughy sketches...

Rococorobo! And a rococo chick.
(Y'might wanna click on it to see it larger... 's awfully tiny.)

So, my awesome idea is to recreate a super famous rococo painting, The Swing by Jean-HonorĂ© Fragonard, with ROBOTS.

Yeah~ That's the one. That'd be cool!

So I'll do it... somehow. Before April 15th! Wooo~
